My main purpose - at the moment - for setting this up is just to have a Blogger/Blogspot presence, since I seem to read (and comment on) quite a few blogs at this host.
How much blogging of my own I'll do here, I'm not certain. On one hand, it seems a bit silly to have a second blog, since my posting frequency on my LJ is, "once or twice a month, if Real Life doesn't get in the way;" on the other, there are subjects I'm likely to want to talk about for which this host, or posting to both, might be preferable.
